Caregiver Respite in Maryland
Compassionate Assistants in Frederick, MD
Providing care for a loved one is difficult. Compassion fatigue and burnout are real and nothing to be ashamed of. As caregivers to loved ones, we rarely take time for ourselves. The burden of helping someone we love can weigh heavily on us over time, impacting the quality of care we provide, our own health, and our relationships with others.
Because of this, it is important for family caregivers to take time to recharge, allowing them to provide better care long-term. Finding help to take these breaks is a challenge, especially for medically complex situations. Our highly trained, skilled Personal Care Coaches can provide quality care for your loved one while you take time for yourself.
We even have caregivers who will travel with you and your family. If you want to take a family vacation, or need assistance getting your loved one to that faraway family reunion or gathering, our PCCs can come with you so you can enjoy yourself and know that your loved one is cared for and having a good time, too.
We meet with you to discuss your loved one’s care needs, including medications, mobility assistance, feeding assistance, and toileting or bathing help so you can provide all the information necessary to make your loved one’s care as seamless as possible during your respite. Whether you need infrequent care, or require occasional help so you can tend to the other duties in your life, our Personal Care Coaches are here to help.
